For all items that shops add during this period, they will only be charged a 10 cent listing fee (5 cents for Charter Shops).Your Ruby Lane account must have a positive balance of at least $1.00 to participate.

The following is a the latest scam email we received. It takes a different, more general initial tone than others we have been seeing. Be advised that this is a scam!

The Internet has its obvious advantages. But one that some might view as a negative is that in most cases you can’t “see” and/or easily get to know those with whom you are interacting online. Have you ever wondered who is behind the individual shop home pages on Ruby Lane?

The following is the latest scam email we received.  If you’ve seen these before, this may seem like your run-of-the-mill scam email, however there was something particularly disturbing about it: Embedded in the email was a real life photo of a person in a hospital intensive care unit on life support.  In our opinion this a new low. Of course we are publishing this without the photo.
