NFTL reader needs help in identifing a Teddy Bear

Three or four years ago I found this little teddy bear in a box purchased at auction. From the tip of his ear to his feet he measures about 8-1/4". Arms, legs and head are adjustable. He has what appear to be glass eyes; his nose is tightly sewn brown threads. "Fingers" and "Toes" are indicated by brown threads. He wears a small leather collar. A close look shows the bottoms of his feet are "veined". He is quite detailed and adorable, but I can find nothing to indicate his age (although Charlotte Mitchell Please respond to Charlottes request for information via the comments section below.
