What's This? from Marge Leyden - Born Too Late Vintage

This is a dish purchased by my husband's grandmother. She thought it was possibly Imari. This is now part of her estate. I know nothing about what this piece is made of or what it's possible value is. I would appreciate any assistance in determining what I have here.

Sincerely,

Marge Leyden, Born Too Late Vintage:

I have a comment about the item:
The measurement of this item is 15 inches left to right and 13
inches top to bottom. I've been doing some more research on my
own and some of these "plates" are listed as "chargers." I don't
know if that is correct or not.

You might want to check out the above site for your mark. The red
symbol at the top of your mark is the Orchid mark which is
explained on this page.

I have a comment about the item:
Thank you very much for your assistance. Another person from
another chat area mentioned the possibility of the plate/charger
being Fukagawa. I'm finding this very complicated to say the
least! Thank you again for helping!

I have a comment about the item:
Hi Margaret,
I tested my link and it didn't bring me to the area I wanted to
show you but you probably found the right area since you
mentioned Fukagawa. I was thinking specifically the Ko Ran Sha
(Scented Orchid Company) 1875-1894. See Item number:
260438377531 on eBay.

I know what this is:
Thank you very much! I see that the one part of that plate has a
very similar marking on it, though the marking on that plate is
on an angle.

I'm thinking that I should join http://www.gotheborg.com/ and
take a look at all the information they have available there.
I've been on the site a couple of times already and boy have I
found out that I know less than nothing about this plate/charger.
Thank you again for your assistance!
