If you have not heard of the site called Pinterest… you really need to check it out! Pinterest is a virtual online bulletin board where you can “pin” things that interest you. It is rather like ripping a page out of magazine and placing it on a corkboard…however, without a paper trail! The things you love are right at your fingertips on your very own personalized online “boards”.

Let me say…. Pinterest is extremely ADDICTING!! When I have a few moments to relax at the end of the day, I start poking around Pinterest and before I know it, an hour or more have gone by and it’s past my bedtime! Since the site is a sharing network other people share their pins and can “follow” your boards and vice versa. Thus if you find another person that has similar taste and with boards filled with items that appeal to you as well, you can simply follow any one or all of their boards.

Just about anything and everything you want to explore is on Pinterest! There are phenomenal recipes, exciting craft ideas, awesome decorating inspiration, beautiful antiques and collectibles, exciting places to visit, inspiring gardens, amazing flowers, stylish clothing, shoes and accessories. Wedding ideas galore along with party planning. In addition, there are inspirational quotes and sayings that just plain and simple make you laugh! The sky is the limit on what you will find awaiting on this exciting and captivating venue! You will never have a dull moment whilst oohing over tempting recipes or ahhing over a beautiful garden or vacation spot. My co-workers and friends “share” recipes and ideas and have fun discussing our new finds!

To start pinning, you may either “re-pin” things onto your own board or set up your own “pin it” button to pin your own online finds. Now you are ready to have a great time pinning and categorizing all your boards complete with things that are near and dear to your heart!

One word of caution though, once you start pinning, it will definitely be difficult to stop! Their slogan is “How Pinteresting”… I wholeheartedly agree, it is! Happy Pinning!
