As we move quickly into the holiday season shop owners should be sure to Recently our Ruby Lane shop Pauline Street has had several very disappointing issues involving the USPS and PayPal. The system is set up for the buyer and not the seller. PayPal will issue a refund to buyers even though they have filed an insurance claims with the USPS for damaged and items not received items. So in fact they collect twice and your account will be debited. I made the mistake of giving the insurance receipt to the post office for a customers claim and that night received a charge back notification from PayPal. I strongly suggest that you include signature required on delivery for every shipment. Tracking will not cover you if the customer claims they did not get their package. One more concern I have with PayPal is that the seller is not given We are reconsidering all shipping and payment options for our shop We Wish Everyone a Blessed and Peaceful Holiday Season, JoAnn Lund Ruby Lane Note: It is important to read PayPal and Shipper polices and procedures in their entirety prior to using a specific payment or shipping method.
