I am a professional auction *ringman*. I have worked with many local auctioneers with aspects of auctions from the initial contact up to and through the delivery of products. The bulk of my experience is however with the actual research, product knowledge, and salesmanship of each item offered on any given day. Basically, I 'hold' the item(s) up for full customer view (or identify each item) as each is 'sold'. I also am an integral part of catching bids and calling them out to the auctioneer. I am beginning my 17th year in 2009. Now, for the more important issue at hand; I have a tremendous opportunity to work with the ABSOLUTE BEST Auctioneer in our area, if not in the business. Want proof, just ask him for his credentials and past accomplishments: Rookie of the Year, National Runner-up and National Champion. In addition, I am delighted to have the opportunity to 'ring' for OUTSTANDING turn-of-the-century items, collected mainly in New York City and St. Louis, in the first part of the 20th century. Wow, what a great combination. What else do you need to know? How about the auction site, the auctioneer's website and contact information? Ok, here it is:
