December 4, 2007 - 7:07am
Anyone may submit; participation is not limited to Ruby Lane shops. Contributors to Notes from the Lane will also receive a copy of the Contributor Logo on the right to place on their shop homepage or blog. Topics may include educational information on virtually any aspect of collecting or selling online, as well as personal experiences in the field, tips for e-commerce success, and even stories with a humorous tone. If you have a topic idea that does not mirror the types of topics or writing styles that you already see published on the site, we encourage you to come forward with your suggestion so that we may expand the scope of the site. Publication approval will be based on the quality and accuracy of the article, and the expertise of the author. Submission for pre-approval is strongly recommended. To be considered, send your theme or ideas to blogarticles@rubylane.com. Please include your name and a brief bio that qualifies your expertise. An important note to Ruby Lane shops regarding use of shop item pictures in Notes from The Lane articles. Ruby Lane's Term of Use states that: "6. Content License. When you provide us with content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to exercise the copyright, publicity and database rights (but no other rights) you have in the content, in any media known now or in the future." Thus, Ruby Lane may choose to publish a shop item photo from the Ruby Lane site that complements a particular article that did not originally include a photo. |
